There's noone like you Nanny, I miss your presence so much. You were the best. You loved your kids grand kids and great grand kids so much. I'm grateful for the love and protectiveness you gave to us. Thanks for loving my boys, even at 80 you were on the floor crawling around with them. I'll never forget when we wanted to go berry picking with the boys and we thought it was too long a walk for you so you sat in the rickshaw and I pushed us all up baseball hill. You laughed so much we all did. Love you forever nan. Thank you for your friendship and love.

Betty was always good to me growing up. I loved going to her place to hang out with friends. In later year's she became my neighbor. She may have swore alot but it was so comical as a kid. But at the same time you knew when she meant business. I've known Betty and her family for years and have great respect for her. She was so kind over the years and always had a smile. My family sends deepest condolences to her family. Especially Wendy and Lindsay.
Love Melissa, Judy and Edith Armstrong

There are so many great memories with Aunt Betty in them, our childhood is a flood of memories of Aunt Betty, from her making us homemade bags to carry our marbles in, showing us how to cook, washing our hair in the kitchen sink while giving you the best scalp massage, putting ringlets in my hair, taking us yard saling and teaching us how to haggle lol to making me my favorite peanut butter cake with peanut butter icing(extra icing... of course) every year for my birthday. She was always just a phone call away and would drop everything for any one of us, she always showed up, always made us laugh and always made us feel loved and safe! You were the best of the best Aunt Betty, I hope you're up there tearing it up ♥️ Love you forever and always ❤️

I think I speak for all the women in my family when I say Nan was a force to be reckoned with and we all wanted to be her lol. She showed us girls how to stand up for ourselves, and if we couldn't well then she damn well would. To the men in the family well they all knew to back down when she said something. Nobody argued with Nan lol. Unless they wanted a cuff up side the head.
She also had another side of her which was love kindness and warmth. She'd drop whatever she was doing to help a friend or family member. She had a ferocious love for her family. She was the glue that held us together.
