Rick had a deep passion for music, playing both guitar and bass with incredible talent. Throughout his life, he played in numerous bands, including Iron Cross and Wasteland Zombies, infusing every performance with passion and electrifying energy. He wrote his own music and songs, using his artistry to connect with people in the most beautiful way. His love for creativity extended beyond music—he was also an extraordinary visual artist with a natural gift for drawing, capturing life in ways only he could.

Rick was also a dedicated and hardworking associate at Home Hardware in Minto, NB, for several years. He welcomed everyone with a smile and was always willing to help, making a lasting impression on both customers and coworkers alike. His kindness, honesty, and work ethic were unmatched, he treated everyone with equal respect and always put others before himself. Rick truly cared for those around him, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and generosity.

Rick was a man of quiet strength and an enormous heart. Whether sharing a laugh, lending a hand, or offering words of encouragement, he left an unforgettable impact on everyone he met. His presence could brighten even the darkest days, and his kindness will forever be remembered by those lucky enough to know him.

A special thank you to the paramedics, the staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, and the Saint John Regional Hospital for their care and tireless efforts to save him. Deep gratitude is also extended to Rick’s brother, Glenn, and his fiancée, Tish, for their unwavering support and guidance. The family would also like to express heartfelt appreciation to their extended family, friends, and the community for their outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

In keeping with Rick’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Interment will take place at a later date.
