Elaine, Terri-Lynn, Tracy, and family. Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. Glenna and I are thinking of you during this difficult time. Steve was a special man, and we considered him a good friend and will always have great memories of him. Steve always took time to talk to us and I especially enjoyed his stories of when he lived and worked in the US. My first memory of him goes back over 50 years when our Atom hockey team went to Massachusetts to play a couple of games that he had organized. We visited their home, and the kindness of Steve and Elaine is etched in my memory, and I reminisced with Steve about that trip many times. Steve’s spirit and great attitude will definitely live on with all of us.

Condolences to the bereaved. I remember going with them for summer, I have a suitcase on top of the car we were driving (which my worldly possesion is in there). Upon arriving, It flew off the roof of the car. No suitcase. I had none with me but they managed to give me some clothes. They are really good souls.
Terrilyn was a baby, I remember her being held by Elaine in the mall throwing a little tantrum. Elaine stood back and worked through it. At the time it certainly not funny but as I lookd back, it was. Cool Elaine managed. I will always remember how good they are to me. Another one was when they went to Halifax in Quinpool riad. The procedure he us having done. Bill was already done that and Bill was telling him about the sandbags to stop th bleeding and Steven was already afraid so he was prepared for this procedure. The next day Elaine called and said yes they had to use the sandbags but it wasnt for Steven. He smiled and took it all in good stride.
One more story, when we were relaxing over a wine in their open-door policy at home/community. Just like Mac and Danny, and Uncle Mac would say, the whole flock is here.
Excuse me if I’m rambling, but Steven and Elaine, they have been solid as a rock. They have made it. His legacy will remain on forever.
I hope I’m not talking too much but it comes from my heart and tears of sorrow and thankfulness for Steven and Elaine.
Love as always,
Bonnie

My Deepest Condolences to Elaine, Terri-Lynn and Traci and their families.
Steve, was a Very Specia,l and One of a kind Gentleman. We got to have a great chat, standing in the back of the church , the last time I seen him there just before his birthday party week. He spoke about how when Ww All are young we keep So busy, and take Everything for granted, and he said, but you knos Joselyn, when we get older, what it all boils down to is, Nothing really matters anymore, except the love and time you get to have, with your family, grandkids and good friends, and your faith in God, because that is Definitely what matters the most and those little grandkids that puts a smile on our face.
He said he enjoyed that So Much. He ralked about god giving him 80 good years on this earth, and a good marriage with Elaine and a good family he was So Proud of, and he said through All his illness he felt like he was Blessed because of his good life with them.
I pray for you All to treasure those memories of your wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and let those memories be your strength to guide you through those Most Difficult Days ahead.
Keeping You All In Prayer
God Bless You All
