


Obituary of Ricki Gordon Fraser
With love and sorrow, the family of Ricki Gordon Fraser announce his passing on May 23, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Chipman, NB, on September 19, 1949, Ricki was the son of the late Girvan and Della (Barton) Fraser.
Ricki is survived by his wife, Laurianne Fraser, who stood by his side with care and devotion. He is also remembered by his brother Ross (Doreen) Fraser of Briggs Corner, NB; sister Diane (Keith) Thompson of Moose Creek, ON; and sister-in-law Gloria Fraser of Kelowna, BC. He leaves behind brothers-in-law Benoit Johnson and Gerard (Maria) Johnson , sister-in-law Rejeanne Mercier, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ricki was predeceased by his brother, John Fraser.
Ricki will be remembered in many ways, through everyday moments, shared stories, and quiet connections that left an imprint on those who knew him. It’s in these small but meaningful memories that his presence will continue to be felt, offering comfort and a gentle reminder that love, and connection endure, even in his absence
Visitation will take place at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services (10 King Street, Minto) on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 29 at 11:00 AM at Saint Barbara’s Parish Church Minto, NB. For those who wish, donations made to Saint Barbara's Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
