Angus, Dale, John , Sandra, Shelley and Families,
My heart hurts for your loss, I cannot remember a time when she was not a part of our lives. She was mom’s best friend since they were kids. I will miss our telephone calls, visits and just knowing she was there especially after the loss of my parents. Dad and I visited often and it was always so hard to leave, I can still hear her say to us “oh sit down what is your hurry”. She was truly an angel and one of the strongest women I have ever met. The heartache she had in her life would have broke many women but her love for her family always kept her strong. Maddie she loved you and was so proud of you. She would always say “how many young girls would want to spend time and always check on their grandmother”. Fly high Nell and sing a song with mom, Fred and Brian. What a great time that would be. ❤️ Love and congratulations

Nellie was a good friend for many years. I loved the times we spent at her camp - her home and the homes of several of her family. Nellie loved a musical evening with friends and family. We shared many of those. Condolences to all who loved her. Rose Collette

I'm so sorry to read this. I have memories of Nellie Mae over my entire life. As a little girl, going with my grandfather to pick up my grandmother in the Ridge after she and Nellie Mae's mother in law Mimi had taken the train to Moncton to shop for the day. Visiting her dog Digger who was a sibling to our collie, Abbie. We used to love to go and ride the go-carts and then as I got old her, I saw her in mom's shop (Maureen), pretty much on a weekly basis, for years and years. As an adult, I got to know her better through my friendship with Gayle and after I moved away from Minto, it was always a treat to encounter her and Clarence out on the lake in the summertime. She had many tragedies to deal with, starting at far too young of an age. I offer you, her family, my sincerest sympathy and the hope that your memories provide comfort in the coming days. Sincerely, Stephanie (Best) Gaudette

Nellie Mae (Nell to me) was one of the most personable people I've known, From the first time I met her at Minto Elementary I knew she was open and honest in our many discussions. Her heart was huge which made her a person who would reach out and help others in any way she could. I'm certain she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Condolences to her family. I'm very sad to learn of the passing of such a dear soul.
Love and prayers to her family & friends.
