Hayward had a deep love for the outdoors. He found great joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time at the hunting camp, where many cherished memories were made. He was a true lover of nature, often feeding the birds and taking quiet pleasure in watching them gather.

A talented musician, Hayward enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica, filling the air with music that brought comfort and joy to those around him. He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and the deep love he held for his family—especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to him.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Frank and the nursing staff on 3 Southwest at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital for their compassionate care.
