Obituary of Harley David Quigley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Quigley, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully at ESHC. He was 80 years old. Born in North Minto, New Brunswick, on August 25, 1944, David was the son of the late Harold and Minnie (née Tucker) Quigley. David is survived by his brother Harold Quigley of Minto NB and predeceased by his siblings, Donnie, Jackie, Corby, as well as his sisters Margaret Cosman, Velma Miller and Gerry Quigley. He is survived by his loving children, Carrie Quigley, Kori Jordan (Mike), and Cathy Quiring (Peter), and his seven beautiful grandchildren: Samantha, Candis, Hailey, Heather, Braiden, Gracee, and Ethan. He was also a great-grandfather of eight, though predeceased by one great-granddaughter. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends, and the caring community at Seacliff Manor. David was a loyal employee of Chrysler for 35 years, retiring in 2001. He had a love for sports, especially watching the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey games and the Toronto Blue Jays baseball games. The highlight of his day was at 2 p.m. sharp having his daily beer at the bar. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Seacliff Manor for their compassionate care during his time there.

A graveside service will take place 11:00AM Friday, September 5th, 2025 at Wallbridge Cemetery, Bridge Street, Minto, NB
