Obituary of Harold George Quigley

With deep love and sadness, the family of Harold George Quigley announces his passing at the age of 92 years old on September 28, 2025, surrounded by his son and daughter in-law at Mill Cove Nursing Home.

Born on June 7, 1933, in Minto, New Brunswick to Minnie Tucker & Harold Quigley. Harold lived a full and meaningful life beside his Wife Faye along with the family and the home they built together. Harold was known for his hard work, deep wisdom, endless humour, and unwavering dedication to his family. Over the years, he became known not just as a loving father and grandfather, but as a Christian, volunteer, knitter, hunter, dancer, and a man of quiet kindness—someone who could always be counted on and who always stayed dedicated to anything he loved, especially his family. 

Whether he was sharing stories from hunting at the camp, lending a helping hand to a friend , or simply enjoying homemade bread and tea with Faye, Harold had a way of making the ordinary feel special. He valued honesty, loyalty, and laughter—and he lived each day with purpose, faith, and generosity.

Harold leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and strong values. He is survived by his son Duane Quigley (Stacey), grandchildren Lindsay Quigley & Aaron Quigley bonus grandchildren Grace Moss & Conroy Copeland, Grandchildren Kaylub Austin, Saelum Copeland, Claire Copeland and two on the way, several nieces, nephews and countless friends who will carry his memory forward with pride and affection. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Faye Quigley, parents Harold Quigley & Minnie Tucker, brother Jackie Quigley (Elaine), Donnie Quigley, Corby Quigley, David Quigley & Sisters Margie Cosman, Velma Miller (Junior), Gerry Quigley (André).

A service to honor and remember Harold’s life will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 4th at the United Baptist Church Cemetery at 860 Route 10 in Minto. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the donors choice or that you simply take a moment to enjoy a quiet morning and remember him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
