Obituary of Paul Johnson Taylor

The death of Paul Johnson Taylor of Minto, NB, occurred on October 7th, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

Born in Saint John, NB, Paul was the son of the late Hattie Mae (Rogerson) Taylor.

Paul had a deep love of nature and plants—his favorite being Brown-Eyed Susans. He enjoyed tinkering with vehicles, often spending hours working to solve a mechanical problem. Paul also found great joy in feeding the birds and caring for any animals that wandered into his yard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Myers; his son, Tyler (Jenn); daughters, April, Duska, and Farrah (Mark); brothers, David (Stella), Lee (Nancy), and Peter; and sisters, Janette (Earl) and Helen. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Robyn, Cole, Kate, Kian, Wyatt, and Rayleigh; chosen children Yvonne (James), Nicole (Ben), and Charlie; hand-picked grandchildren Tia and Aeriana; and great-granddaughter Diana; many good family & friends, Bill, Barb, Jim, Shelbi, Alvina, Ken, Ellen, Paul, Yvonne, Corky, Liza and Joe; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his mother, Paul was predeceased by his angel grandchildren, Cassandra and Chase.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
