Obituary of Donetta Pearl Madore

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Donetta Pearl Madore. Her death occured peacefully, surrounded by her children at Hospice House in Fredericton on Monday, October 27, 2025.

Born in Minto, she was the daughter of the late Gray and Alberta “Allie” (Doherty) Bishop.

Donetta was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grand-mother who loved her family above all else.

In former years, she loved bowling with her sister Gail, reading a good book and playing bingo.

Donetta is survived by a son, Terry Madore of Shediac River; her daughters, Kelly (Randy) Johnson of Cambridge Narrows and Stacy (Derrek) Kilfillen of Minto; grandchildren, Lyndsey Johnson, Austin (Halie) Kilfillen, Brandon Madore and Corey (Crystal) Darrah; great grandchildren, Xavier, Kaycee, Teagen, Tyson and Tori; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Douglas Madore, a daughter, Glenda and a daughter-in-law, Della; a brother, Manford Bishop; two sisters, Gail Brogan and Marsha Adams.

Donetta will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Minto Community Chapel (10 King Street, Minto) with interment to follow in St. Michael and All Angels Cemetery.
