Obituary of Alvin Joseph Dollard

The death of Alvin Joseph Dollard of Coal Creek, NB occurred on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at his home.

Born in Chipman, NB, he was the son of the late Ola and Vitaline (Legere) Dollard.

Alvin worked as a truck driver for several years; He had a deep love for music and was well known for playing guitar and singing at many community functions. His music brought joy to all who heard him.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Smith (Josh); grandchildren, Tyler, Logan and Brody; sisters Viola Debouver (Paul), Rose Doak, and Ida Martin (Dave); sister-in-law Carlotta Dollard; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many cherished musical friends.

In addition to his parents, Alvin was predeceased by his brothers Roger and Andrew, and sister Jeannie Clark.

 A graveside service will take place 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 12th from St.  Joseph Cemetery, Chipman, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
