Obituary of Claude Doucette
The death of Claude Doucette of Fredericton, formerly of Minto, occurred Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Hospice House after a brief illness with his family by his side. Born in Minto, New Brunswick on February 25, 1965, he was the son of the late Andrew and Yolande (Lavoie) Doucette.
Claude had a deep appreciation for the simple things he enjoyed such as music, guitars and gatherings.
He is survived by his sister, Andrea LeBlanc and sister-in-law, Gloria Doucette, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, his Longwood Drive family and many good friends.
In addition to his parents, Claude was predeceased by brothers, Leo and Alfred Doucette and by sister, Anna Pitre.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:30 – 7:30. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on 11:00AM, Saturday, December 20th, 2025 from Saint Barbara’s Parish (Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Minto) with interment in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB
