Obituary of Madeline Elizabeth Tyler

It is with great sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of Madeline Elizabeth Tyler (Howe), December 16th, 2025 with family by her side.

Born in Fredericton, Madeline was the firstborn child of the late Charlie and Sigma Howe. She was the oldest of her 16 siblings.

She is survived by her 5 children; Stephen (Kathy), Anne and Linda all of Minto, Dennis (Peiriotte) of Bathurst, Mark (Brenda) of Grande Prairie, AB; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Madeline is predeceased by her late husband, Mel Tyler.

She was a stay-at-home Mum, looking after her 5 children and sometimes helping her husband out in the Mechanic Shop when needed.

Madeline loved the Lord and the Church, serving on several committees within the United Baptist Church if Minto. She was a Sunday school Teacher, a CGIT Leader, the Sick & Visiting Committee, the Social Committee etc.

She loved talking to people about the Lord. Madeline loved doing puzzles, working in the garden and around the yard planting many trees and flowers. She will be sadly missed.

Resting at the United Baptist Church of Minto, 124 Pleasant Drive, New Zion, NB with visitation on Friday, December 19th, 2025 from 1-3 followed by funeral service at 3:30PM. Interment will be held at a later date. A reception will follow in the church hall.

The family will appreciate donations made to the United Baptist Church of Minto or the charity of one’s choice.
