Obituary of Goldwyn Power

The death of Goldwyn Power of Minto, NB occurred Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Luke and Pearl (Dykeman) Power. Survived by his loving wife Marguerite (Barton) Power; sons, Patrick (Charlotte) of Dartmouth, Dan of Minto and Mark (Nancy) of Rothesay; a daughter, Lynn Power of Dartmouth; 9 grandchildren, Jillian, Alex, Ben, Noah, Jacob, Abby, Olivia, Grace and Taylor; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services with visitation on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society, JDRF or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A reception to follow at the Minto Senior Citizen Club.
