Obituary of Ruthann Marie Bell

It is with great sadness that the family of Ruthann Marie Bell of Ripples, NB announce her passing on February 9th, 2017. She peacefully passed with her family by her side at the DECH. Ruthann is survived by her loving and dedicated husband Brian Bell, daughter Laura and son in law Dillon Long. She is also survived by her mother, Ruth Casey and Clarence Gauthier of Minto, NB; siblings, Wanda Wilson (Junior Miller), Randy Casey (Wendy) and Philip Casey as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She will also be missed by Charlie, her faithful puppy who never left her side. Ruthann was predeceased by her father Gerald Casey and an infant brother, Robert. Visitation will be held at Hogg Funeral and Cremation Services in Minto, NB on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A service will be held at Ripples United Pentecostal Church on Sunday, February 12th, 2017 at 2:00PM. Interment will be at Ripples Community Cemetery at a later date. Ruthann’s family would like to extend a special thank you to those who cared for her through her long journey: Dr. Claus Schaus, Dr. Jeffrey Moore, the medical staff at the DECH including the exceptional nurses, housekeeping staff and other team members from 4SW as well as the ICU team. Thank you as well to the extra mural staff, who like the DECH staff became her friends. For those who wish, the family requests donations in Ruthann’s memory be made to the Horizon Health Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre or The Canadian Diabetes Association.
