Obituary of Patrick Calvin Powers

The death of Patrick Calvin Powers of Minto, NB occurred Friday, March 17th at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB on April 8th, 1960 he was the son of Cecile (Arsenault) and the late George Powers. Survived by his loving wife, Nancy Sargefield; sons, Calvin, Paul (Cora), Josh (Alyshia) and Kyle; a daughter, Tara (Albert); grandchildren, Cohen, Cole, Jazmyn and Bentley; sister, Christine Thompson (Greg); brothers, Steven, Darrell (Allison), Danny (Chrissy), Tom (Gwen), Mike (Linda); sister in law, Jennifer Sargefield aka “Chester” (John); many cousins, family and friends. In addition to his father, Pat was predeceased by a brother Arthur, as well as several aunts and uncles Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Wednesday, March 22nd from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Funeral service will take place 11:00AM, Thursday, March 23rd from the Christian Community Church in Minto. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations made in memory of Patrick to the living memorial program would be appreciated by the family.
