Obituary of Hazel Alberta Thompson

The death of Hazel Alberta Thompson of Hardwood Ridge, NB occurred Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Hardwood Ridge, NB she was the daughter of the late Everett and Margaret (Demmons) McAllister. Survived by her loving husband George Thompson; sons, John (Louise), Allen Thompson all of Hardwood Ridge, Leslie (Ann) of Fredericton; daughters, Rose Ann Thompson of Hardwood Ridge and Deborah Howard (John) of Calgary; grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Lesley Ann, Christopher, Craig and Bradley; great grandchildren, Alexandra, Dawson, Logan, Terence, Caleb, Patrick, Chloe, Vincent, Zachary, Piper, Maddie, Declin and Ryleigh. In addition to her parents, Hazel was predeceased by daughter, Laura Lee Thompson 2011; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Spurgeon McAllister; sisters, Dorothy Garner and Stella Stevens; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Sunday evening from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 noon Monday, May 15, 2017 from Minto Community Chapel. Interment will take place in Redbank United Church Cemetery, Chipman, NB for those who wish, donations made to the Minlak Training Program would be appreciated by the family.
