Obituary of C. Gordon Colwell

The death of Gordon Charles Colwell of New Zion, NB occurred Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton, NB he was the son of the late Ernest and Sadie (Coburn) Colwell. Survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Madore) Colwell; sons, Randy (Louise) of Fredericton, Jim (Belinda) of Minto; daughters, Janice Scribner (Larry) of Hardwood Ridge and Sandra Kowalski (Gary) of Noonan; chosen sisters, Susan Harris and Kimberly Kendrick; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gordon was predeceased by a sister, Marion Gibson. Funeral Service will take place 11:00AM Monday, January 22, 2018 from Trinity United Church. Interment will take place in the Wallbridge Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
