Obituary of Marie Lillian Boudreau

Marie Lillian Boudreau, 85, of Minto NB passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital in St Stephen NB on January 27,2018. Marie was born in Minto to Edward and Flossie Gormley on Aug 10, 1932. She worked at the North Minto Hospital which she later left to start her family. She volunteered many years at the WG Bishop Nursing Home and was active in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending quality time with her friends and couldn’t pass up a yard sale or a card game. She was strong in her faith and was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Flossie; husband Gilbert Boudreau; five brothers Vernon, Cyril and Bart Stack, Emery and Jim Gormley; sister Erma Reid and Josephine Bauer. Marie is survived by her brother Vaughn Gormley; sons David Boudreau, Paul Boudreau (Carol Ann); daughter JoAnne Thompson (Robert); three grandchildren Maegan Boudreau, Madison Boudreau and Tanisha Thompson; a newborn great-granddaughter Paisley (Boudreau) Duplessis and many nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MEMS Breakfast Program or Alzheimer’s Society Canada. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Charlotte County Hospital, the staff were professional, caring and made a difference in the final days for mom and the family. Funeral service will be held at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Minto on February 3, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Hogg’s Funeral Home will be handling the Funeral service.
