Obituary of Freda Lorraine Young

The death of Freda Lorraine Young of Ripples occurred Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Ripples, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn (McKay) Ackerson. She is survived by her loving husband, Ivan Young; her children, Terry McAllister (Adrianne) of Brockville, ON, Danny Young (Chaloe) of Ripples, Sherry Dean (Barry) of Cape Tormentine and Todd Young (Jillian) of Ripples; her grandchildren, Javan (Jaime) McAllister, Brandi (Jamie) Olafson, Justin (Kelsy) Young, Makayla Young, Carly Young, Alyssa Dean, Madison Young and Emily Young; her great grandchildren, Koen McCarthy, Jalynn and Harper McAllister, Aaron, Aiden, Annika and Ashlynn Olafson and Amelia Young; 7 brothers, 7 sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Freda was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Munn. Resting at the Ripples United Pentecostal Church with visitation on Friday evening from 6-8pm and from where Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Saturday, February 17, 2018. Interment will take place in the Ripples Community Cemetery at a later date.
