Obituary of Roland Alphonse Lapointe

The death of Roland Alphonse Lapointe “Mr. Perfect” occurred Friday, July 6, 2018 at Frederick Hall … Shannex Fredericton. Born in Saint - Quentin, NB he was the son of the late Thomas and Florine (Poirier) Lapointe. Survived by his loving wife Bernice (Despres) Lapointe; daughters, Joanne Lynch (Gary) and Velma Lapointe - Powers (Herman Hudnut); daughter in law Gwen (Dominey) Lapointe; grandchildren, Christina, Diana, Joanna, Chris and Warren; great grandchildren, Makayla, Hailey, Terry and Allyssa; sisters, Velma Richard and Mona Gautreau (Willy); several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Roland was predeceased by a son, Ferdinand Lapointe in 2016; brothers, Lionel and Arthur. Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Monday evening from 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. For those who wish, donations made to the SPCA Fredericton would be appreciated by the family.
