Obituary of Joan Emilie Keswick

It is with heavy hearts the family of Joan Emilie Keswick announces her passing on July 8th, 2018. Surrounded by the love of her family at the Dr Everett Chalmers hospital she moved on to her next journey after a sudden and short illness. Born in Fredericton, July 21st, 1942, she was the daughter of Preston and Gladys (Davidson) Howe. She was a committed member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Joan lived a life of service to her family and community. Her compassion, kindness and generosity touched countless lives. She always gave 100% and was loved and respected by her family, community, church and employers. Joan was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was interested in people and took delight in their stories. She loved to travel, read, cook and garden. Although we can no longer see her beautiful face, enjoy her warm hugs or hear her frequent, easy laugh, we will feel her in our hearts forever and know she lives on in the many hearts she touched. Survived by husband Wayne Keswick, daughter Heather Hallett (Richard Sacobie), son Bill Hallett (Michelle McCue) grandchildren Alexis Sacobie, Aslynn and Caleb Hallett, sisters Hazel, Carol, Della and Yvonne, brothers David and Arnold and several nieces and nephews. Visitation and funeral will be held at St Mary’s Anglican Church on Thursday, July 12th. Visitation 12:00-1:30 Funeral service 2:00 pm For those who wish donations may be made to St Mary’s Anglican Church in her memory.
