Obituary of William Russell West

The family announces the peaceful passing of William (Bill) Russell West on August 18, 2018 at the DECH, surround by his daughters. He was born in Chipman, NB on November 15, 1936 to the late Russell and Avis (Smith) West. Bill was the loving husband of Dorothy West (Richardson) for 56 years. Beloved father of Shyanne (Steve), Dawn (Miles). Loved and respected grandfather of Jamie Lee MacLaggan. Bill was predeceased by sister Grace; brother Carl; nephew Michael. Bill was a supervisor for the City of Fredericton for 22 years and a member of Evangel Assembly since 1985. Resting at Evangel Assembly, Fredericton on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will take place 10:00AM Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Interment will take place in the Full Gospel Pentecostal Cemetery. The West family would sincerely like to thank Dr’s, Nurses and Staff of Palliative Care unit of the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital for the excellent care of our Dad. For those who wish, donations made to the Evangel Assembly (Fredericton) or the Canadian Cancer Society (Fredericton) would be appreciated by the family.
