Obituary of Cornelius Daamen

The death of Cornelius “Koos” Daamen of Minto, NB occurred Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Orchard View Nursing Home in Gagetown, NB Born in Holland he was the son of the late Antoon and Henrica (Hendriks) Daamen. Survived by brothers, Martin (Marion), Joe (Dody), Corrie (Annette), Gerrit (Cheryl) and Henry (Blanche); sisters, Theresa Arts, Annie Daamen and Christina Bosse; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Koos is predeceased by brother, Theodore Daamen; sisters, Henrica (Ricky) Van Doren, Netta Brown and Martina Steele; nephews, Hank Daamen and Harry Van Doren. No visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the Orchard View Nursing Home, Gagetown would be appreciated by the family.
