Obituary of William Lawrence Jones

The death of William Lawrence Jones of Minto, NB occurred Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Ernest and Katherine (Maude) Jones. Bill was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 53, Jarvis Bay and Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 12, Minto and Minto Seniors Club he was an avid bowler and a former employee with G. E. Barbour, General Dairy’s and Saint John Housing, Landscaper with Ernie Home improvements. Survived by brother, Alfred Jones of Saint John, NB; a sister, Winnifred Jacquard of Saint John, NB; special friend, Eloise Spencer; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by brothers, Cornelius and Ernest; a brother-in-law, John Jacquard; sister-in-law, Coleen Jones. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-6pm.Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Thursday, July 16, 2015 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
