Obituary of Violet May McCoy

The death of Violet May McCoy (Atyeo) occurred on January 12th, 2016 at the Oromocto Hospital. Born in Somerset, England, she was the daughter of the late Hilda and Thomas Atyeo. Violet was a member of the Lakeville Corner United Church. Survived by her children, Ferne (Fred) Barton of Enfield, N. S., Pauline (Eugene) Fischer of Calgary, Alberta, Paul (Pat) McCoy of Maquapit Lake, N.B., Ronald (Iris) McCoy of Clarks Corner, N.B., Mary (Murray) Thompson of Quispamsis, N. B. Marg Sypher of Clarks Corner, N. B. Violet is survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; a brother, Bob Atyeo; a sister, Peggy Smith. In addition to her parents, Violet was predeceased by her husband William Arnold McCoy, a daughter Barbara King and a granddaughter Jillaine Fischer, son-in-law, Winston Sypher. Resting at Hogg Funeral Home with visiting on Friday from 3- 6pm. Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Saturday, January 16, 2016 from Sheffield United Church.
