Obituary of Beatrice Mary Knox

The death of Beatrice Mary Knox of Minto occurred Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home in Minto. Born at North Forks, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sadie (McNeill) Smith. Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Barbara McAllister (Roy) and Freda Bishop both of Minto; her sons, Ron Knox and Glenn Knox both of Hamilton, ON, Mark Knox (Bonnie) of Minto as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ervin Knox; a grandson, Jason G. Hopkins and daughter-in-law, Linda Knox. The last surviving member of her immediate family, siblings, Rose Smith and twins, Bertha Barton and Burns (Robert) Smith predeceased her. Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services where visitation will take place on Monday, June 10th from 10 to 12 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM in the Minto Community Chapel. Interment will follow in the Redbank United Church Cemetery, Chipman, NB. For those who wish, the family suggests the Minto Youth Centre for memorial donations.
