Obituary of Ida Marie Petitpas

The death of Ida Marie Petitpas of Minto, NB occurred Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.

Born in Adamsville, NB she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Annie (Collette) Williams.

Survived by sons, Henry (Trudy) and Ivan (Andrea); daughter, Stella Brooks (Douglas); 8 grandchildren; Paul Petitpas (Michelle), Cathy-Ann Petitpas, Tammy McFadden (Lawrence), Mark McFadden (Dareth), Michelle Curran (Teddy), Gisele Wheaton (Justin), Raquel Brooks (George) and Nick Brooks; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sisters, Emma Doiron (Euclide), Roselda Arsenault (Louis) and Lena Arsenault (Camille); several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Ida was predeceased by her husband, Emery Petitpas in 1999; a daughter, Evelyn Petitpas; brothers, Frederick and Edward Williams; sisters, Flora Petitpas, Blanche Albert, Mary Williams and Laura Petitpas.

Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services with visitation on Tuesday from 3 – 6PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Those attending the visitation or service must provide proof of vaccinations as well as government issued ID.  Masks will also be required.
