Trevor & Dale: so very sorry about the loss of your Dad. I recall Basil being friendly, always in a good mood and willing to lend a helping hand. I would see and talk to Basil when home visiting my sister, Sheryl Bourgeois. He helped us out numerous times using his truck to move items. Last summer he showed me his wallet filled with several one hundred dollar bills. He was on his way to purchase a newer smaller vehicle. As Sheryl said, “Basil loved to drive the streets of Chipman. He will be missed by everyone in the community.
