On behalf of the United Church Women (UCW) of St. Paul's United Church in Fredericton, I would like to express our sincere condolences to Barb's family. Barb and Ron were such wonderful contibutors to the life and work of St. Paul's. We were so happy to see Barb again when she returned after a time away. With Covid, our getting together for meetings and socializing was limited. She did have a visit from some of our ladies just before Christmas. Just to let the family know you are in our thoughts and prayers.. Donna Chauvin UCW

Our sincere condolences to the entire family on the passing of Barb; may you find solice and comfort in your memories.
Natalie, I like to remember your mom smiling as we left your house on our many escapades as teenagers, In retrospect, perhaps she wanted to join us in those carefree days of youth, I like to think so.

So sorry for your loss…shocked and saddened. Matthew was here for Christmas and we were talking about your family tonight before I read this. We were reminiscing about life on Mitchell Street and us on York Street…about Bill and the girls and where everyone is now in life. Matthew said he wanted to see Barb, maybe next summer when he returns for a visit. So hard to believe reading this. So pleased you were visiting this summer. Nancy Gough Hallett

Stephanie and Natalie, so sorry about Barb. So many memories. Barb was just always there. Even after Mom sold the house they found each other sharing an apartment building! It's always terrible when a parent dies but what a tough time of year to be dealing with this. Take care of yourselves. Darcy

Natalie and Stephanie: deepest condolences to you and your family. I grew up with Barbara and her family next door in Fredericton and as my mum and she and Ron made the decision to graduate to apartment living, they continued to be neighbours in the same building. It was always a pleasure to see Barb. She had a mild constitution that belied a fierce heart. She was always kind and genuinely happy in others’ successes and accomplishments, evidenced as she watched with ongoing inquiry, our generation mature. She will be missed.

We were shocked and saddened to see that Barb had passed away. She was such a sweet and kind lady. Barb and I had a great talk recently and she was telling me what a great summer she had. We also talked about Christmas and upcoming plans. She was very proud of her daughters and we often talked of the special relationship that she shared with her Grandson. Barb was always dropping into our shop with homemade bread and sweets. We will certainly miss this wonderful lady.... Sending our condolences, love and prayers to all of Barbs family.
