Obituary of Patricia Hennie Lockyer

Patricia (Patsy) Hennie Lockyer (Beers) of Minto, NB passed peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was surrounded by family with the best care possible at Hospice House Fredericton.

Born at home in Chipman and raised in Minto, NB, she was blessed to be part of a large family, the oldest daughter of the late Richard Donald Beers and Rita (Robichaud) Beers. Survived by her loving Daughter, Denise Colwell (Thomas); Granddaughter, Meaghan Curtis (TJ), Great Grandchildren - Rowan and Maeve. Granddaughter, Cassandra Colwell (Patrick Horsman) and Granddaughter, Kealtie Jordan (Alex). Brothers - Donald (Janice), Roderick Sr. (Marguerite), John (Heather); Sisters - Annie Corey (Ken), Brenda Beers (Len Priest) and Marilyn Hoyt; Sister-in-law, Charlene Stack and several wonderful Nieces and Nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was predeceased by her youngest Brother, Richard (Bozo) Beers.

Patsy worked hard to take care of her small family. Patsy had a great sense of humour, she enjoyed spending time with her daughter, playing cards with friends, especially her close friend Elaine Stack, and fun-filled road trips with her three very special sisters. She adored her granddaughters Cassandra and Kealtie who grew up near to her, taking care of them when they were young children and travelling around the province to cheer them on at all of their sport activities. She was their biggest fan.

Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visitation on Friday, March 4, from 2-4 pm for family and open visitation from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will take place 11:00am, Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Trinity United Church. Internment will take place at Wallbridge Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to Fredericton Hospice House would be appreciated by the family.
