Obituary of Marcel Arthur Villeneuve

The family of Marcel Villeneuve, wishes to announce his passing on May 5th, 2022 at the DECH in Fredericton, NB.

Born July 12th, 1950 in La Baie, QC.

The sorrow of his loss is tempered by the happy recollection of his active and adventurous life. A 40-year veteran of the CAF, he attained the rank of MWO and was an EME mechanic, and course instructor in vehicle recovery. A proud parachutist in the Airborne Regiment who completed 27 jumps. His leisures included “maintaining his estate”, tinkering and problem solving in his garage, motorcycling, championship curling, and going out of his way to help a neighbor, friend or relative, as his generosity and good will were known by many who were blessed by him in life.

Reunited in death with his predeceased wife, Nancy Elizabeth (Mills) Villeneuve, and predeceased brother Clément,  and Sister Esthère,

He is survived by his only daughter Sarah, and four grandchildren Sophie, Gabriel, Nancy and Rebecca, Brothers Jacque, Jean Yves, Louis, Sisters Noëlla, Lise, Lucie. Treasured Husband, Father, Brother, he will be remembered.
