Obituary of George Thomas McNamara
The death of George Thomas McNamara of Cumberland Bay, NB occurred Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at the Oromocto Public Hospital.
Born in Newcastle Creek, NB he was the son of the late Joseph and Marion (McVicker) McNamara.
Survived by sons, Joseph (Darlene), Tommy (Donna) and David (Yvonne); 8 grandchildren, Mike Allen, Tiffany Allen, Ashley McNamara, Amanda Walsh, Brittany McNamara, Brandon McNamara, Nicholas McNamara and Tara Vienneau; 10 great grandchildren, Talan, Raylyn, Trey, Tatam, Addison, Trustin, Tucker, Charlee, Maximus and Emma; nieces, Laura-lee Bunnell Glenn (Grant) and Lisa Spadoni (Mike); nephew, Jeff Bunnell (Crystal).
In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by a daughter, Lynn Anne McNamara.
Funeral Service will take place 1:00PM Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from Minto Community Chapel (10 King Street, Minto). Interment will take place at Newcastle Creek Cemetery Extension. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.hoggfunerals.ca
