Obituary of Diane Eva Mary Wilkins

It is with heavy hearts that after a long courageous battle with cancer, we announce the peaceful passing of Diane Eva Mary Wilkins (Daigle) on Friday October 7, 2022, surrounded by family at Hospice House Fredericton.

Diane leaves behind her loving husband, Andrew Wilkins; daughters, Crystal-Dawn, MaryAnn, Kiana (Joey) and Carmen (Will); sons, Roger and Myles and her greatest gem, her sweet little Melody. Melody was her Nana’s most beautiful girl, and she was the light of her Nana’s life. Godson Nick Daigle.

Her sister, Susan Daigle (Roger); brothers, David (Crystal), Levi (Darlene), Kevin (Christine), Paul (Judy) and Peter; several nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. Her Mother and Father in-law, Laurel and Myles Wilkins; brother in-law, Joe Wilkins (Barb), sister In-law Tina (Mike).

Her Canine Companions Hulk and Storm.

She also leaves behind special friends Eric and Iona, Tanya and Darren. Her best friend Lori Richard.

Diane is predeceased by her parents, Art and Eva Daigle, an infant sister MaryAnn. Paternal Grandparents, Evenline and Thomas Daigle and Maternal Grandparents, Edna and Alphonse Legacy.

The Family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to her doctors and to the Extra Mural Nurses as well as the Hospice House for all the care and support you have given Diane and the family during this very hard time.

A funeral Service will take place at the Minto Community Chapel (10 King Street, Minto) at 1:00PM, Friday, October 14th, 2022. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon until funeral time. For those who wish, donations made to a living memorial in memory of Diane would be greatly appreciated by the family.
