Obituary of Robert Charles Rowe
The death of Robert Charles Rowe of Minto, NB occurred Friday, December 9th, 2022 at Hospice House Fredericton.
Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Gaddess) Rowe.
Bob loved his family and friends. He was a long-standing member of the Douglas Harbour Fire Department and held the title of Captain at the time of his retirement. Bob retired from the Province of New Brunswick as an electrical inspector after a 38 year career.
Survived by his loving wife Linda Rowe; daughters, Mary Beth Rowe (Matt), Julie Ann Gallagher (David), Hope Gallant-Day (Todd) and Shannon Valanne (Tony); grandchildren, Lachlan, Emily, Kristen (Eli), Alex (Aliya), Faith, Emily, Adam Amiah and Connor; great granddaughter, Quinn Gallant; brother, George (Doris); sisters, Ann Rowe, Doreen Burns (Kevin) and Janet Merrill (Jim); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by a brother, James Rowe.
Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services with visitation on Sunday from 3-6pm. Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Monday, December 12th, 2022 from Minto Community Chapel. Interment will take place in the Wallbridge Cemetery. Reception will follow at the Minto Seniors Club Minto. For those who wish, donations made to the Hospice House Fredericton or Wallbridge Cemetery would be greatly appreciated by the family.
