Obituary of Linda L. Wasson
The death of Linda L. (Goodine) Wasson of Minto, NB occurred Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home.
Born in Rowena, NB on July 21, 1948.
Linda was a feisty lady that kept James on his toes. She had a deep love for Johnny Reid and Charlie Pride. She enjoyed going to watch local country music bands at the Hollywood Star Room. In the summers she and James would travel to Grand Manan to get her dulse fix. Linda was a hard worker and was never scared to get her hands dirty. Anyone that knew her knew she loved to talk as much as she loved cats.
Survived by her husband, Jimmy Millican; children, Leeland (Brenda), Nicole Fearn (George), William (Joy) and Amanda (Edward); father of her children, Larry Wasson; 6 grandchildren Rikki, Chad, Douglas, Louis, Jackson and Oliver; 3 great grandchildren, Kyler, Khloe and Karissa; brothers, Arthur Goodine (Gail) and Louie Sharpe (Angie); sister, Judy Palmer; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda was predeceased by her mother Verdie Sharpe of Cumberland Bay, NB.
A graveside service and celebration of life at the Hollywood Star Room will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
