Obituary of Irene M. DiCarlo
The death of Irene M. DiCarlo of Minto, NB occurred Saturday, April 1st, 2023
She was the daughter of the late Adolph and Ida Gallant. She was born in Minto, NB on May 27, 1931, where she lived, worked and married her late husband Roland DiCarlo. Together they raised 4 children Amanda (Chris) Rippin of Fredericton. Durand (Ann Marie) DiCarlo of Newcastle Creek, Richard DiCarlo of Minto and Marla (Victor) Adamczyk of Fredericton. She was a proud of her 9 grandchildren Mackenzie and Alexandra Rippin, Kendall (Carrie), Justin and Lindsay DiCarlo, Brittany (Matt) Wood, Ashtin, Mallory and Quintin Adamczyk; great grandchildren Isabella and Cohan DiCarlo and Mason and Sophie Wood. She is also survived by a sister Yvonne Wuhr of Ottawa, Ontario and a brother Edward (Bonnie) Gallant of Minto. She was Aunt Irene to many nephews and nieces.
She was a woman of strong faith and prayer and a long time member of the Catholic Women’s League.
Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother-in-law Mathius Wuhr and a daughter-in-law Joan DiCarlo.
In accordance to Irene’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Minto with Father David Fulton officiating. Interment will take place in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery Dad and Mom’s final resting place.
Mom is now resting peacefully with her Rollie his “little La Femme”.
