Obituary of Linda Mary Mercier
Linda Mary Mercier of Minto, NB passed peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at Hospice House Fredericton, NB.
Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late George and Theresa (LeBlanc) Smith.
Linda was always well organized and loved to chat with family and friends over a soothing cup of tea.
Survived by a son, Jeff (Stephanie) Mercier; a daughter, Lisa (Ben) Carter; 5 grandchildren, Merissa (Ryan), Landon (Kayla), Victoria Theriault, Kayla and Kyle Painter; 1 great granddaughter, Lilah; brother Stephen Smith; sisters, Diane Cormier (Paul) and Nancy Smith; chosen sister, Annette Agnew; special friend Doreen Belleville; brother- in-law, Charlie (Rejéanne) Mercier; sister-in-law, Myrna (Roger) Cormier; grand-fur baby, Gretchen; many nieces, nephews, many great friends.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by a brother, George Smith.

Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visitation on Monday evening from 6 – 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’ choice would be appreciated by her family.
