Obituary of Geraldine Victoria Barton
The death of Geraldine V. Barton of Minto, NB occurred Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at her home.
Born in Back Bay, NB she was the daughter of the late Granville and Jennie (Blainey) Leavitt.
Survived by daughter, Zelda Blyth (David); 5 grandchildren, Angela (Dave) Hebert, Brian (Yvette) Foulkes, Melissa (Tom Fawcett) Austin, Melody (Jeff Hart) Austin and Christian (Brittany Bishop) McLean; 9 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; step-daughter Joann (Jimmy Richard) Boyd; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Geraldine was predeceased first husband, Kenneth Austin; second husband, Bernard Barton; 2 infant sons, Kenneth and Phillip; son, Barry Austin; daughter, Marie Foulkes; grandson, Kenneth; 2 brothers, Lonnie and Marshal; sisters, Helena Allen, Arlene McElroy and Louise Polk; sons-in-law, Murray Bishop and Brian Foulkes.
Funeral Service will take place 12:00 noon Monday, June 26th, 2023 at Minto Community Chapel (10 King Street, Minto, NB). Interment will take place in Wallbridge Cemetery, Minto, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
