It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Sheila Talbot of Fredericton, New Brunswick which occurred on October 16 th 2023 at Shannex’s Thomas Hall. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Talbot in 2020.

Sheila Mary McInroy was born on April 16 th , 1937 at Newcastle Bridge, New Brunswick to the late William and Ruby (Power) McInroy of Oromocto. She was the eldest of ten and is survived by four siblings; Cameron, Lauchlan, Janet and Alan.

Sheila graduated from St. Michaels Academy in Chatham, New Brunswick then went on to successfully complete her registered nurses training at St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Saint John, N.B. From the very beginning Sheila was a natural born caregiver...from helping to raise her nine siblings, becoming a registered nurse (one of Dr. Everett Chalmers favourites) to birthing and nursing five of her own children. Sheila was always putting others above herself.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at Thomas Hall...from embracing Sheila like family to always including her as one of “the team” at the nurses’ station. Thank you.

Also sincerest thanks to Bruce and Gloria of Hogg Funeral Services in Minto for their care, compassion and guidance through a very difficult time. Thank you.

Sheila was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She will be dearly missed.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
