Obituary of Robert Orland Gormley

Dad has left us for his final flight. He loved flying his planes on what he called “The Flying Field.” Predeceased by his wife, Caroline (Bailey) Gormley. Survived by the love of his life, best friend and partner Annette Belliveau her daughters, Rita (Jay)), Susan (Steve), Debbie (Andrew) who he loved dearly and shared many family gatherings with them. Also left with broken hearts are Dad’s Girls as he loved to call us.Sharon (Ivan) Robichaud, Stacey (Duane) Quigley. Dad was always loved so unconditionally by his grandchildren; Trent (Tania) Robichaud, Shane (Krista) Robichaud, Conroy Copeland and Grace “Squirrel” Copeland; great grandchildren, Carter and Beckett. Survived by his brothers, Eugene (Germaine), Charles (Minerva), Winston (Bernice); sisters, Mary Bailey, Nancy Chapman (Butch), Wanda Levasseur; sisters-in- law, Marjorie and Connie Gormley; brother-in-law, Larry Buskard. Dad also was predeceased by his parents, Clayton and Beatrice (Barton) Gormley; brothers, Donald and Lynwood; sisters, Kathleen Buskard and Norma Stewart; brothers-in-law, Gordon Bailey and Guy Levasseur. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visitation on Thursday from 2-4pm. Funeral Service will be held 5:00PM Thursday, March 5th, 2020 from Minto Community Chapel. For those who wish, donations made to donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Our hearts are broken, but our memories will stay with us forever.
