Obituary of Carman Nelson Parlee

It is with great sadness that the family of Carman Nelson Parlee announces his passing at DECH on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Carman was born in Chipman, NB on April 4th, 1935 he was the son of the late Nelson and Ruby (Fulton) Parlee.    

Carman loved spending time with family and friends. His true passion were hunting, fishing but especially playing sports in his early years and watching them in his later years. In 1999 Carman and the ball team he played on, The Minto Miners were inducted into the NB Sports Wall of Fame and  into the Minto Sports Wall of Fame.

Survived by daughters, Vickie Chase (Johnny), Janice Petitpas (Jimmy), Lisa Brogan (Jason), Shelley Storey (Mark); grandchildren, Troy Chase (Noella), Jeff Chase (Dawn), Amanda Petitpas (Anthony), David M. Black, Lucas Storey, (Ashley),Logan Storey and Evan Brogan; great grandchildren, Ryley Chase, Marissa Chase, Cohen Storey, Jude Powell and Oliver Storey; sisters, Rita Vautour, Judy Clarke and Debbie Fulton (Al); sister-in-law, Mary Anne Parlee several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Carman was predeceased by his wife Doreen Ann (Quigley) Parlee in 2021; brothers, Clive, Herbie and Donnie Parlee; sister, Marena Parent.

Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services Minto, NB with a meet and greet at 12:30 followed by Funeral Service at 1:00PM Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024. Interment will take place in Wallbridge Cemetery. Followed by reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12. For those who wish, donations made to the MEMS Breakfast program or Minlak Training Programs Inc. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
