Obituary of Dennis Vasilaros
DENNIS VASILAROS – May 16, 1948 – October 4, 2024. He peacefully passed away at York Care Centre, Fredericton, New Brunswick at the age of 76.
He was a loving husband to Trudy for 31 years and cherished father of both his sons Stephen and Constantine (Kostaki).
He was the youngest of seven children and born in Greece. His father Stavros was Chief of Police, a position which required his father to move frequently, throughout Greece and Cyprus during World War II and the Greek Civil War. He then came to Canada at the young age of fourteen years old.
Dennis was accepted at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario and graduated with a Law Degree. He practiced law for a short period of time but, his real passion was operating many businesses.
Dennis was a very intelligent, charming man. Anyone that got to know him gravitated towards his compassion and good sense of humor. His two sons were his pride and joy. He did everything he could to maintain his loving relationship with them. He also loved his pets, more than life.
Dennis had a full and happy life. He touched many people and will be remembered with fondness and love.
Funeral Service will take place (2:30PM AST New Brunswick)( 1:30 EST Ontario) Sunday, October 06th, 2024 from Minto Memorial Chapel (10 King Street, Minto, NB).
