Obituary of Clair Sypher Chapman
The death of Clair Sypher “Butch” Chapman of Minto, NB occurred Friday, October 11, 2024 at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home.
Born in Newcastle Creek, NB on December 30th, 1939 he was the son of the late Dana and Glenna (Sypher) Chapman.
Survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Gormley) Chapman; daughter, Karen Lynn Coakley (Marlon); sons, Dale Chapman (Lil Moulton) and Bradley Chapman; stepchildren, Charles DeWaepenaere (Shannon), Trena Ackerson (Preston) and Kathleen DeWaepenaere; several grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; many friends and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Butch was predeceased by a sister, Verley Bridges; daughter-in-law, Susan Bourgeois; first wife, Pat.
In keeping with Butch’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick.
