SPECIAL PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES
Like everyone else we here at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services we are monitoring the Coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak and doing what we can to protect the health and well-being of our customers and staff. As a result, for the foreseeable future, we will be taking certain precautions to help ensure the health and peace of mind of all of those entering our Funeral Home. We wanted to share these with you and ask for your cooperation in trying to keep everyone safe.
We encourage you to use hand sanitizer and to wash your hands regularly.
We will be doing our best to regularly disinfect the common areas in the funeral home, especially those things we all touch like door handles, counters, and hand railings.
To minimize hand to hand contact we will no longer be handing out bulletins before services. We will place them near the entrance and invite you to help yourself to one as you enter.
If you are placing a memorial donation at our desk, please consider paying either by sending a cheque directly to the charity or, for most charities, you may choose to pay through our website when you return home. We would like to minimize the handling of cash.
While we certainly understand the importance of coming here to support family or friends at a time of loss, if you are feeling unwell, having flu-like symptoms, or running a fever, please stay home until you have recovered. We are asking the same of our staff.
We thank everyone for their understanding as we continue to monitor this evolving situation and determine the best way to protect everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to talk to us.
