Obituary of Esther May Richardson

With heavy hearts, Esther May Richardson’s loved ones announce her passing on November 11, 2024, at Pine Grove Nursing Home.

Born on a beautiful spring day in May, she was the daughter of the late Hazen Mowatt and Emma (Myers).

Esther will be missed by her sister, Loreen (Gilbert); grandchildren, Bobby, Chris and Shannon; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Close friends who became her family, Kenny and Marlene Fraser, as well as many friends.

Esther was a kind soul with a wonderful sense of humour, she lived life with spirit and compassion. She loved to watch wildlife out her window, do jigsaw puzzles and share many stories and laughs with friends.

In addition to her parents, Esther was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Ann and sons, Hayward Ernest and Darrel Floyd; and their father Doug Richardson, brothers, Trueman, Earnest, and Henry; sisters, Irene, Jenny and Betty.

In keeping with Esther’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private interment to take place in the Full Gospel Cemetery at a later date.

For those who wish, and in lieu of flowers, donations made to Pine Grove Nursing Home or donor’s choice, would be greatly appreciated by Esther’s loved ones.

Esther’s family and close friends would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Pine Grove Nursing Home for the exceptional care given to her.
