Obituary of Elizabeth Grace Gallant

It is with heavy saddened hearts we announce the sudden death of Elizabeth Grace Gallant (nee Gullison) 58, at The Hinton Healthcare Center, Hinton Alberta April 6th, 2020. Born August 16th,1961 in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Betty Lou (Barton) Gullison. Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen Elizabeth,Mom enjoyed a variety of things throughout her life but she enjoyed her family the most. She met and married her husband, our Dad Joseph (Joe) Gallant September 15th, 1979 along with her 3 year old daughter at the time Nyree. On December 17th 1981 they welcomed a baby boy Nicholas Joseph Gallant. Almost 4 years later they welcomed a second baby boy Charles Edward Gallant January 8th, 1985. With moving to different places throughout New Brunswick they made the move in 2005 out west to Alberta living between Edson and Hinton being the last move. Before Mom got really sick with her arthritis and underlying health issues she loved to cook, play cards, play bingo, loved her Timmies coffee, loved her scratch tickets and within recent years loved keeping in touch with her friends and family through Facebook. She loved her furry babies, her kitties and her doggies. In early years she loved to sing, and jam with her family members including her daughter, brothers Scott, Peter and her sister Vanessa. She loved to spend time with her big sister Robin when things were not so hectic. She was most proud of her boys Nick and Charlie and would always light up when she spoke of them. She learned most of her cooking techniques from her late mother Betty Lou. On occasion she liked to have her Dad Ralph over to have a meal here or there when she and our Dad still lived in NB. She loved her grandbabies the most and she was called Grammie Lizzy. Mom/Mommy you are now at peace with no more illness and no more pain and no more troubling times.
