Obituary of Donald Sinclair Fraser
It is with great sadness that the family of Donald (Don) Fraser announce his
passing on January 7th, 2014 at age 88 at Moncton City Hospital.
Born in Chipman, NB on November 14th, 1925, Don was the son of Samuel Calvin
(Margaret Glenn) Fraser, both predeceased. He had worked 43 years as a machine
operator for C.N.R.
He will be sadly missed by daughter Linda Fraser and son Delphis (Lorna) Pitre;
• grand-daughters: Marybeth Clements, Tina (Jordan) Trethewey, Kimberly
(Doug) Atkinson and Krista (Dennis) Caissie;
• great grand-daughters: Katie and Emma Clements, Faith Atkinson, Taylor
and Jenna Caissie and great-grandson, Noah Trethewey;
• brothers: Hughie Fraser and Harold (May) Fraser as well as many nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his wife of 47 years Elizabeth (Bessie Pitre), also by a special
friend Norma Bourgeois; sisters, Roxie (Johnny) Robinson, Vera (Ora) Murray and
Helen (Alvin) Brown; brothers, Girvan (Della), Vincent (Rotha).
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (43 Main Street, Chipman, NB) with visiting
on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m.
Friday, January 10th, 2014 at Chipman United Church. Interment will take place in
Redbank United Church Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations
made to the Alzheimer Society or charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated
by the family.
