Obituary of Rita Mary Fasquel

FASQUEL, Rita Mary (Boudreau) Minto, NB, passed away at Oromocto Public Hospital on February 21, 2014. Rita was born in Saint John, NB on September 1, 1917 to the late Alice (Bourque) and William Boudreau. Rita is survived by one daughter; Marie (Colin) Lowther of Ontario, three sons: Alphie (Arline) Landry, Joseph (Geneva) Landry, Willie (Paula) Fasquel. Rita is also survived by eleven grand-children; Michael Landry, Denise (Gerry) Fictorie, Peter (Alayne) Landry, Joanne (Bob) Randall, Brian (Joanne) Landry, Mark Landry, Gail Steeves, Greg Steeves, Gary (Lisa) Steeves, Troy (Angela) Fasquel and Shawn (Melanie) Fasquel, granddaughter-in-law Jodi Steeves, twelve great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rita is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by husbands; Angus Fasquel (1997) and Albert Landry (1949), by her daughter Eva Steeves, son in-law Allison Steeves, grandson Glen Steeves and an infant daughter. Rita was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Dames of Saint Anne, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12 of Minto and she loved travelling, shopping, bowling, knitting and the casinos. Family and friends are invited to Hogg Funeral Services, Main St. Minto, NB on Tuesday February 25, 2014 4-7pm. Funeral service will be at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Main St. Minto, on Wednesday February 26 at 11am with Father Paul Bebodu officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
