Obituary of Winston Frederick Sypher

Born in PEI, he was the son of the late Greta Barton and his step father Leslie Barton and the late Arthur Sypher. Winston is survived by his wife of 46 years Margaret (McCoy) Sypher and his daughter also known as his punkaroo Dawn Sypher (Glen) of Fredericton, N. B. He is also survived by a sister Janice Tissington (Ron) of Syphers Cove and brother in law Gary DeLorey of Grand Lake. He is also survived by many nephew and nieces. Winston was predeceased by his sister, Donna Delorey and his mother and father Greta and Leslie Barton. Winston was known for having a nickname for everyone and the kids knew him as Winnie the Pooh. The family would like to send a special thanks for all our friends that were there every step of the way and the extra mural nurses that have helped us along the way. There will be no service as per Winston’s wishes. A celebration of his life will be held at his home at 1394 Rte 690, Clarks Corner, N.B. on Thursday, October 2nd, from 2-4 pm. We would like everyone that knew Winston please come and help us celebrate and share your memories with us. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
